Within the framework of the UC Challenges of Education 2021 Program, a UC interdisciplinary team of researchers, led by Cecilia Ramirez (UC Education), developed “Conectando Aprendizajes” (connecting learning), a methodological proposition and educational resource designed to reduce pandemic-related school lag and learning gaps among elementary school students.
The project consists of a platform containing games and tangible teaching material as a tool to foster children’s autonomy, by raising awareness around citizenship, sustainability and heritage, and through group work at education establishments.
Fundación Efecto Educativo, an organization dedicated to delivering new and innovative ways to contribute to individual and institutional development by improving quality of life through learning.
The foundation has already begun piloting the methodology and didactic resources at the Roberto Ojeda rural school in Paillaco and the Sagrados Corazones school in Providencia.
